The topic is about students being forced to take science and math classes as part of their major.
I can see why universities might encourage students to do this, but I think students should be allowed to make this choice themselves.
I doubt science or math lessons would be very useful to anyone who is studying to be an artist or musician.
So, it seems unfair to force art and music students to take science and math classes they won't need.
In my opinion, they should just focus on the classes that are important to them instead.
